About all tires

Every listing shows the full manufacturer specification — load index, speed rating, UTQG grades, treadwear warranty and severe-snow certification — together with the price per tire and the price for a set of four.

To narrow the list to your vehicle, enter the three numbers from your door-jamb placard: section width, aspect ratio and wheel diameter. A size written 205/55R16 means 205 mm wide, a sidewall 55% of that width, on a 16-inch wheel.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know which tire size fits my car?

The manufacturer's recommended size is on the placard inside the driver's door jamb and in the owner's manual, and it is moulded into the sidewall of your current tires. Use those three figures — width, aspect ratio and wheel diameter — and match or exceed the load index and speed rating shown on the placard.

Should I buy two tires or a full set of four?

A matched set of four keeps grip balanced at both axles. If you replace only two, fit the new pair to the rear axle regardless of which wheels drive the car — that reduces the risk of the rear losing grip first in a wet corner.

What is the difference between the season types?

We stock all-season, summer, winter, all-weather fitments. Winter tires stay flexible below 7 °C and carry 3PMSF severe-snow certification; summer tires maximise warm-weather grip but stiffen near freezing; all-season tires are a year-round compromise for moderate climates; all-weather tires add 3PMSF certification to that year-round convenience.

How much do tires cost at ExtraBrake?

Prices start from $37.50 per tire and vary with size, brand and construction. Each listing shows both the single-tire price and the set-of-four price, and shipping is calculated per tire and shown before checkout.
